Information we collect

• Account details: your name, email address and password, or your basic Google, Apple or Microsoft profile (name, email, profile picture) if you sign in with one of those. We never see your password for those services.
• Profile details you add, such as nationality and preferred currency.
• Trip details you share with us, such as destinations, dates, travellers, preferences and any documents or bookings you send us for your itinerary.
• Enquiries you send through our contact form, by email or on WhatsApp.
• Invoice and payment records. Payments are handled by our third-party payment provider; we don't store your full card details.
• Basic technical data (such as browser type, device and pages visited) used to keep the site secure and working.

How we use it

To create and manage your account, plan and deliver your itineraries, make bookings you ask us to, send invoices, reply to your messages, send essential service emails (like verification codes and trip updates), and improve the site. We don't sell your personal information.

Who we share it with

Only where needed to provide the service: our website and hosting platform, email delivery providers, our payment provider, and travel suppliers (airlines, hotels, activity providers) when you ask us to book something. We may also share information if the law requires it.

Google sign-in

If you sign in with Google, we receive only your name, email address and profile picture, and use them only to create and sign in to your account. We never use this data for advertising.

How long we keep it

While your account is active, and afterwards only as long as needed for the purposes above or as the law requires (for example, invoice records). You can ask us to delete your account at any time.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, or object to how we use it, by emailing benj@travelbybenj.com. You may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Security

We use reasonable measures to protect your information, but no online service is completely secure.

Children

Our service isn't directed to children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time and will change the date above when we do.
